Parking

Access: Parking is available at the far north end of the lot, on Lewis Avenue, and on Arnold Lane by Lillis Park. The alley parking is now primarily handicap parking. You may drop-off passengers at the doors, but do not block the alley at any time.

Carpooling: There are sign-up sheets for those willing to provide rides and those needing rides posted in the narthex. As an added bonus, every 90 days we will be giving away a $100 gas card for those who participate in the carpooling program.

Pedometer Challenge: Count the steps you take walking from your car to church and record them on the designated sheet in the Narthex for a chance to win a Fitbit. Every 90 days we will be drawing the name of a lucky winner. Just think…the farther away you park, the more steps you will get in!

We say goodbye to our original sanctuary and church facility in March! Join us on March 11 during the Sunday Education Hour as we gather to thank God for the ministry and life that happened in the original A-Frame and building.

To prepare for and memorialize this space, we’d like to gather your memories and pictures of your time in this building and collect them into a book about the beginnings and ministry of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.

To participate in this, please put your memories either in written or email form and turn them in to Pastor Kay. If you have photos to share, you can send an email of them or bring them by the church for Siri to scan a copy. We’d love to have your baptismal, wedding, or other event photos taken in the previous worship space. They will become a permanent part of our congregation’s written history. Make sure you put March 11 on your calendar for this event!

"Return to God with all your heart......"

Lent 2018
Join us for Lenten Worship Wednesdays at 7 pm. This year we will be exploring “Words That Matter,” the words that are the building blocks of our faith, such as love and grace. The liturgy will be the beloved “Holden Evening Prayer” liturgy.

Soup Suppers run from 5:45-6:30 pm. beginning February 21. All proceeds from the soup suppers will be used to help pay the cost of moving into the new building in April.
