At LCGS, we love to get together for fellowship and fun!

New Members

New member classes are offered periodically based on interest. If you are interested in becoming a member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, please contact the church office or call 656-1080.

Youth and Children

LCGS has a vibrant group of youth and children with several opportunities for involvement in service, Bible study, and fellowship. We’re also a family-friendly group who likes to have fun. Check out the different ways to get involved!

The L.I.G.H.T. Club (Lutherans In God’s Hands Today) is for 3rd-6th grade students and their parents. The group gathers once a month during the school year for fellowship activities such as swimming or pumpkin-carving.

PDQ (Present Day Questions) is a Bible study for youth in 7th-12th grades. They meet Wednesdays, 6:00-7:30pm (concurrent with children’s choirs and Confirmation classes).

Keenagers

Keenagers is a lunch and program for retirees of LCGS. They meet the first Friday of each month (September-May) at 11:30am. Cost is $7.00. Registration is required; you can do so by signing up on the sheet in the narthex at church or by calling Adeline Schmidt (652-1738). Adeline can answer any questions and let you know the location.

Co-ed Softball

Good Shepherd has a co-ed softball team that plays in the summer months. Come out to cheer and support our team!
