Route 66

Pastor Steve has been diagnosed with a prolonged viral infection and will be off for medical leave followed by a period of reduced work load until the illness is resolved. Route 66 will not meet during November & December. Prayers are welcomed.

Adult Ed Advent Study

Thank-Offering Services

November 19, the WELCA Good Shepherd women will lead Thank-offering services. They are asking the congregation to bring donations of bar soap. These will be sent to Lutheran World Relief for refugee camps so that they can wash the dirt and sweat of their long journeys made to safety.

Youth Gathering 2018 & Team BGTF

We are turning our attention to others in need for the Advent and Christmas season. Our youth attending the ELCA Youth Gathering were split into 3 groups and asked to choose a charity to “work” for. The WELCA LWR project for November: Personal Care Kits. Each kit requires the following items: 1 bath towel (dark colored) 2 bars bath size soap 1 adult toothbrush 1 sturdy comb 1 metal nail clipper If you would like to donate, items may be left in the LWR box in the narthex.
